Recreational Classes:
Recreational Twirlers sign up for classes in 4 week increments with no commitment at any time throughout the year. In recreation classes you will learn both individual, partner and group tricks, skills, and techniques. You may borrow a baton (at no cost) for the class time or you may purchase a baton. All recreation twirlers will be able to participate in any events that the team is performing in such as local parades or community events if they choose to do so.
Tiny Tot Class:
This class is for students ages 3-5 years old. In class they will learn basic twirling skills and tricks, play with ribbons and play games. Each class will last 30 minutes and will involve lots of movement and fun.
Beginner Class:
This class is for students that have taken the 5 week introduction class and are ready to move on to learn more twirling skills and tricks. In class the students will build on their skills as well as learn a routine they will perform at the end of the year showcase. They will also have the option to compete in one or two local contests if the team desires as well as perform in local parades and community events with the team.
Competition Team Classes:
Competition Twirlers will meet weekly where they will learn a routine or routines that they will compete throughout the year at local contests in both New Hampshire and Massachusetts as well as perform at local events and in parades. Twirlers will be grouped by age and ability level for group routines. Any twirler of any age or ability level may join the competition team at anytime throughout the year.
5 week Trial Class:
This class is for students new to twirling that would like to learn basic skills and tricks. This class is offered for 45 minutes and is offered throughout the year.
*All students will have the opportunity to march/twirl in local parades, perform at community events and compete at local competitions if they choose to.*
Private Lessons: (Open to all Twirlers!)
In private lessons, lasting 30-45 minutes, twirlers will have 1 on 1 instruction by a staff member. During these lessons twirlers can grow and learn new skills/tricks, practice and perfect current tricks, as well as dance and body movements in relation to twirling. Twirlers will be able to learn individual competition routines, such as solo, if they wish too. If you are interested in private lessons please reach out to Ms. Jen.
Twirl Camps:
Twirling Camps are offered at different times throughout the year. Twirl camps are open to students age 5 and up with a variety of twirling skills. Whether you are a new twirler or an experienced twirler you can attend twirl camp where you will learn both individual and group tricks. Twirl camp requires no commitment and is a good way to try out twirling! Batons will be provided free of charge or you can purchase a baton if you need one.
