Jen started her twirling career when she joined her town recreational twirling program at the age of 7. She was both an individual and team member of two local baton studios in Massachusetts as well as feature twirler at both her high school and college, participating in many parades, competitions and local events. Throughout her twirling career Jen competed around the country and at the National Baton Twirling Associations (NBTA) national competition, earning her state, regional and national awards. Through twirling Jen has met some of her closes friends and mentors, who have shaped her into the coach and teacher she is today. During both her competitive career and after retiring Jen has coached both team and individual baton twirlers who have won state and regional awards. After officially retiring from competitive twirling in 2004, Jen became a certified judge for the National Baton Twirling Association (NBTA) and the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) and travels throughout the country judging contests.
For over 15 years Jen has worked as a high school Special Education Teacher at a local Massachusetts High School. She lives in New Hampshire with her husband and young son.
